Erika Fry won the top prize in the Explanatory Journalism category for her story, “Epidemic of Fear.”​ Jen Wieczner won the top prize in the Markets category for her piece, “Wall Street’s Contact High.”​ And Geoff Colvin and Phil Wahba earned an honorable mention citation for their story of Sears’ epic decline, “Seven Decades of Self Destruction.”
